Challenge

Develop a sports bar identity that is authentic and unique to Nashville. The Nashville Sounds organization were constructing a sports bar and restaurant adjacent to the First Horizon Baseball Park overlooking left field. The Sounds organization asked IES Design to help create external and internal brand signs/grapjics that would stand-out and present an inviting atmosphere.

Solution

In collaboration with the Sounds marketing team, a vision was developed and was brought to life in a virtual environment. A 3D model was quickly assembled that mirrored the exterior and interior of building. This 3D representation provided an opportunity for IES Design and Sounds Marketing teams to see how the finished building would appear with all display signage in place. A virtual walk-through, with all creative solutions presented realistically, made it possible to quickly, and inexpensively, experiment with many creative solutions.

Result

The result is a branded sports bar and restaurant where fans can mingle and enjoy themselves. The end result honored the nostalgic heritage of the location while reflecting the culture of a new developing community. A truly unique atmosphere that Nashvillians would be at “home.”
